Gavin was born in Wiltshire and raised in rural Dorset, UK. He was fascinated by the natural world from an early age and spent much of his childhood drawing and painting animals and birds. He later studied Natural History Illustration at Bournemouth Arts University. Working as an illustrator in-house for a number of years, honing his skills in character design, his style gradually evolved from scientific into children’s picture books.
Each 2mm thick, ribbon-cut puzzle is made of 90% recycled material and printed with soy-based inks with an anti-glare finish. Packed with minimal dust, the puzzles include a reference insert tucked into each sturdy and attractive box.
